Hi! I’m Dan McBride – founder of Thinline Anthem
When a member of your family is involved in any part of public safety, the whole family is. My dad's dedication to duty eventually led me to follow in his footsteps, starting out as a Volunteer Firefighter around the age of 18 and eventually transitioning into Law Enforcement as a Corrections Officer with Homeland Security and Juvenile Detention with Chelan County.
It was only then that I truly began to understand the multitude of struggles a First Responder goes through, such as long shifts, lack of energy and mental exhaustion - to name but a few! I could see – first-hand - how easy it was to become trapped in the never -ending cycle of unhealthy habits – not enough sleep, too much junk food and an unhealthy addiction to energy drinks...
